Frequently asked questions
How can I book?
You can book the tour of your interest on our website!
Once you read all the information you can click “Book Now” and select the date, time and group size!
How much I need to pay in advance?
As a small tour organizer, we require full payment in advance to reserve your spot. This ensures we can organize tours effectively and provide consistent care for the animals, as we don’t have to worry about unpaid payments.
I didn’t get an answer yet…
We inform on our website if there is a delay in responding to emails and messages due to holidays, sick leave, or system maintenance.
Usually we might be out in nature herding reindeer or taking care of remote places. If we haven’t responded within 4-5 days, please send a reminder. During peak season, we receive a high volume of emails and messages, and our priority is always the guests arriving at our farms, so we may not have enough manpower to respond promptly.
When should I book my activities?
We always advise to book as soon as you have decided your wished tours, Highest season December- March gets fully booked already during summer months when we open our online booking system.
Is it repetitive if I join more tours?
All our tours are done in different locations with different members of our team.
Huskies and reindeers are kept in different locations, 20min. From each other, same is with other activities we organize.
Will you organise Santa tours?
Currently, we are not interested in organizing Santa experiences. We leave it to other experts!
I would like to book a private tour.
We organize private tours during the whole winter season and depending on the time of the winter we can offer more details or less. For the following winter season we will have many options for our private guests.
Click in the top menu “Private tours” for more information!
Can my family go to one sleight all together?
Reindeer and husky sleighs are quite big but of course different shapes.
For husky sleighs you sit in front of each other, the biggest person in the back and smallest in the front. Usually a regular sized small family of 3 or 4 can fit in one sleigh.
For the reindeer sled you sit side by side, sometimes children on your lap. Usually a regular sized small family of 3 or 4 can fit in one sleigh.
If you are a bigger family it means you need to go in different sleds. Also the snow and weather conditions weigh in our decisions on how much weight our animals can pull as in the end they are our work companions, their well-being is more important than anything else.
Can infants join us?
We have an age limit of 2 years in all of our activities. Depending on the group size, time of the season, and weather, we may be able to accommodate younger children.
Send us a message and we will assess your situation based on the timing.
Wheelchair accessible?
Our locations aren’t wheelchair accessible. If you have special needs in your family, please contact us beforehand so we can assist you in the best way possible.

Is transport from Levi included in the tour?
Yes, our tours include transportation from central Levi to the starting point of the tour. If you prefer, you also have the option to drive to the reindeer farm in your own car.

Myllyjoentie 2, 99130 Sirkka
Can a pregnant person join your tours?
Please read our guests with special needs page.
Children’s Age & Pricing Policy
The children’s rate applies to ages 2–12.
If you are traveling with an infant, please let us know in advance. This helps us make the necessary arrangements for transfers and tour planning.
The minimum age for reindeer sledding is 2 years.
For safety reasons, children must be old enough to support their own neck and head. Infants who cannot do so are at a high risk of spinal injury if a sled were to tip over. Therefore, we cannot allow participation for very young children.
Infants are welcome to join the farm visit, but please note that they must be supervised at all times. An adult must stay with the infant, as they cannot be left unattended during the visit.
The minimum age for snowshoeing and reindeer feeding is 5 years.
This is due to the physical nature of the activity and the late hours during which it takes place.
However, we’re happy to consider exceptions—just reach out to us!
Parking Information in Levi
At the reindeer farm we have a free parking place for the guests who visit us.
If you’re arriving by car, free parking is available near Zero Point in Levi Center, as well as close to some supermarkets.
However, please note:
During peak season, free parking spots can be hard to find.
You may need to allow extra time to search for a space or be prepared to use paid parking options.
We recommend arriving a bit earlier during busy times to ensure a smooth and stress-free start to your experience.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
How big are the reindeer sleds and is there a weight limit?
The current weight limit for reindeer sled is 200 kg per sled.
The width of the sled is: 100cm
The length of the seating space is: 160cm
One reindeer pulls one sled and they are placed to go behind each other like in a “train”.
Sled Capacity & Family Arrangements
Typically, one sled can accommodate two adults, or 1–2 adults and 1–2 children. However, this can vary depending on snow and weather conditions.
For larger families, we have several reindeer and sleds available, so your group can be comfortably divided among multiple sleds. Your comfort—and the wellbeing of our animals—are our top priorities.
What if the weather is bad or there is not enough snow?
In the event of severe weather conditions—such as extreme cold, ice, or other hazardous situations—where the program cannot be safely organized, the tour will be canceled and full refund given. Safety for our clients, staff and animals is the most important priority for us.
If there isn’t enough snow but it’s still safe to be outside, we’ll adapt the program with alternative outdoor activities:
For reindeer sledding,
alternative arrangements such as a walk with the reindeer, reindeer herders workshop and visit to a reindeer farm will be provided.
For snowshoeing and reindeer feeding,
We can still go on a hike in the forest and visit the reindeer farm.
In these situations, refunds will not be provided.
Is winter clothing included?
If necessary we can provide winter overalls and winter footwear.
Winter Overalls:
Adult sizes: XXS to 5XL
(We also have a few overalls designed with a wider hip fit, which may be more comfortable for some women.)
Children’s sizes: 86–154 cm (standard fit)
