TERMS OF AGREEMENT

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. All tours can be booked through our website or by contacting our customer service.
1.2. The tour must be paid 100% immediately during the booking process.
1.3. Payment can be made through our website using credit or debit card.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1. In the event of a cancellation by the customer, the following cancellation fees will apply:
– 30% of the total cost if cancelled 30 or more days before the tour date.
– 100% of the total cost if cancelled 29 days or less before the tour date.
2.2. If Eanan Levi Tours cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions, customers will receive a full refund.
2.3. Eanan Levi Tours is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the customer as a result of a cancellation.
2.4 Poor snow conditions
In the event of severe weather conditions—such as extreme cold, ice, or other hazardous situations—where the program cannot be safely organized, the tour will be canceled and full refund given. Safety for our clients, staff and animals is the most important priority for us. 
If there isn’t enough snow but it’s still safe to be outside, we’ll adapt the program with alternative outdoor activities:

For reindeer sledding, alternative arrangements such as a walk with the reindeer, reindeer herders workshop and visit to a reindeer farm will be provided.

For snowshoeing and reindeer feeding, We can still go on a hike in the forest and visit the reindeer farm. 

In these situations, refunds will not be provided.

2.5 Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be held liable for any default, damage, or loss caused by force majeure or by any similar circumstance that unreasonably disrupts operations, including but not limited to war, strikes, lockouts, or weather conditions that make it impossible or unsafe to perform the services (e.g., lack of snow).

If a force majeure condition is encountered, the Seller shall immediately notify the Buyer in writing thereof and shall keep the Buyer fully informed of the continuance of the force majeure condition and of any relevant change of circumstances whilst such force majeure continues. When a force majeure condition is encountered, the Seller shall also take all reasonable steps available to it to minimize the effects of the force majeure on the performance of its obligations under the Contract.

2.6 Late Arrivals
We reserve the right to cancel confirmed service(s) if the customer or participants arrive late for the agreed start time. In such cases, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price stated in the order confirmation.

3. Tour Itinerary and Changes

3.1. Eanan Levi Tours reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary or tour details due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions.
3.2. If a change is made to the itinerary or tour details, Eanan Levi Tours will inform the customer as soon as possible.
3.3. If the customer is not satisfied with the changes made, they can cancel their booking and receive a full refund.

4. Responsibility and Liability

4.1. Eanan Levi Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
4.2. Customers are responsible for their own personal safety during the tour and must follow the instructions given by the guide.
4.3. Eanan Levi Tours is not liable for any expenses incurred by the customer as a result of injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.

5.Pregnant Women

5.1. Pregnant women are advised to consult their doctor before participating in any tour. Eanan Levi Tours reserves the right to refuse service to pregnant women if it is deemed unsafe for them to participate in the tour.
5.2 Due to the physical demands and risks involved in some of our tours, pregnant women might not be allowed to participate.

6.Children

6.1. Children are welcome on Eanan Levi Tours’ services, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Some tours may have age restrictions, which will be clearly stated in the tour description. If your child is not old enough, contact to the customer service and will be considerate by the team.
6.2 Please note that the child rate applies to participants aged 2–12 years. If a child appears to be older than the specified age range, we reserve the right to verify their age on-site. Should the child not meet the age criteria, the price difference to the adult rate may be charged at the farm/kennel.

7.Animals

7.1. Eanan Levi Tours is committed to the welfare and well-being of all animals used in its services. All animals are treated with care and respect. Guests are not permitted to mistreat, abuse, or harm any animal used in Eanan Levi Tours’ services. If a guest violates this policy, they will be removed from the tour and no refund will be given.
7.2. Our tours may include the use of trained animals, including reindeer and huskies. While these animals are well-trained and accustomed to human contact, we ask that you respect their space and follow the instructions of our guides at all times.

8. Insurance

8.1. Eanan Levi Tours recommends that customers have their own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
8.2. Eanan Levi Tours is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the customer as a result of not having adequate travel insurance.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. Eanan Levi Tours respects the privacy of its customers and will not share any personal information with third parties.
9.2. Personal information collected by Eanan Levi Tours will only be used for the purpose of processing bookings and providing tour services.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law. The Finnish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy, or claim arising in connection with these terms. The District Court of Lapland (in Finnish: Lapin Käräjäoikeus), located in Rovaniemi, shall be the court of first instance.

By booking a tour with Eanan Levi Tours, customers agree to the above terms and conditions.

11. Safety Rules

11.1 Reindeer Tour:

In each destination you are allowed to take photos, even with flash our animals are used to it. Please remember that we are still working with half wild animals and even, they are well trained there are things you should try to avoid. 

When entering the reindeer fence:

  • Do not run or lay down inside the reindeer fence.
  • Do not grab reindeer from the antlers or anywhere else either!
  • Do not enter the reindeer fence without a guide. 
  • Please stay calm and avoid loud noises (reindeer are prey animals).
  • Do not smoke inside the fence.
  • Do not leave trash or food inside the fence.
  • Watch out with your bags, camera strap, scarf can get stuck in reindeer antler (you can leave your bags outside the fence, take off the strap etc.)
  • You are not allowed to enter the reindeer fence or sledding if you are under the influence of intoxicants.
  • Please inform us if you are pregnant or have anything else that we should know about your health.

During the ride:

  • Do not stand up from the sled or get off in the middle of the tour.
  • Keep your hands and legs inside the sled the whole tour.
  • Do not clap your hands or pull reindeer reins.
  • Do not pet the working reindeer without the guide’s permission (not all the reindeer like to be pet, specially while they are working).

11.2 Husky Tour

Our dogs are friendly and likes to come and give kisses to our guest, but there is still few things that we should remember while handling animals, such as sledding dogs aren’t the usual pet dogs:

  • Do not take any food inside the dog fence (we will have dogs running free and just a simple candy bag can lead to problems)
  • Please stay calm and do not run.
  • Do not lay or sit down on the ground while dogs are free.
  • Approach dog kennels only with a guide.
  • Do not put your hand through the fence (dogs might crab your gloves thinking it’s a toy).
  • Do not leave trash or food inside the dog kennel (dogs can eat it and get sick).
  • You are not allowed to enter the dog fence or sledding if you are under the influence.
  • Please inform us if you are pregnant or have anything else that we should know about your health.

During the ride:

  • Keep your hands and legs inside the whole tour.
  • Do not get up till you are allowed.
  • We do not allow pregnant people on the sled ride and all the infants must be accompanied by a caretaker.

12. Severability
If any part, term, or provision of these terms and conditions is held, in whole or in part, to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
